The Draining of Rafferty Reservoir

Or at least a partial drain of this vast reservoir on the Souris River....in prep for Spring run-off.



There is an enormous amount of snow this year

    Wow. I was hoping to get down that way this spring to do some birding, but I'm guessing it will be far too wet.

      Hopefully we won't be flooded out again...but it doesn't look good, does it?!
